TWILIGHT!!!!

Best book ever! The movie's amazing! I don't care what people say about the effects or the acting or anything... it was amazing. But I completely understand why people would think it's an awful movie. The effects were sometimes not the best and the acting got a bit cheesy at points, but not enough to ruin the movie. Plus, just the story is enough to make it fantastic no matter how bad any aspect of the film is. I admit that might be a bit of an overexaggeration, but it gets my point across. However, this could just be the femenine part of me who longs for a man like Edward. Sorry, that was awkward. But really, it's a known fact! Edward has been ripping at the heart threads of girls across America for a while now, and now that he can be seen in human (I mean, vampire) form it's no wonder girls are going crazy. If you have any objection to or would like to argue a point in comparison to mine, feel free. Just click the comment button!

I haven't seen the movie yet, but from the trailer I don't have high hopes for it. I thought the book was okay, for a romance novel (I guess I am a bit biased because romances are not on my favorite list). The problem I see with the movie is that everyone has their own version of Edward and if he doesn't turn out as they imagined him they hate the movie. Also his super human abilities without the right special affects will just look weird and turn his cool otherworldliness into something negative. That said, I still plan on seeing it sometime in the future.

I have yet to read the books or seen the movie (and don't know if i will) but i have been amazed at the hype twilight has received. I guess I still don't understand what's so "amazing" about it. a book/movie about vampires?? that just sounds weird to me.. the acting is apparently nothing special soo what's so great about it? what stems the obsession with edward?.. i think it's great that this film is causing people to read an actual book but i just want to kno.. why is it so great??!

i also really enjoyed the movie and the book. i have only gotten through half the book, not because of a dislike for it but a lack of time. it was interesting to watch the first half having read the book and knowing what happens then watching the second half and not knowing what happens. i liked the second half more in this way, because there was no disapointment in having a different mental image when i read it compaired to the movies image. both parts were very good though.
